Welcome Lois!

Lois joined our family on December 11, 2012.
After a long day she arrived at 11:03 p.m.

7 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 1/2 inches
The did not wash her at the hospital.  They explained this was an attempt to keep her from getting cold. They just wiped her down with a dry towel and gave her to us.
She was very cuddly right from the start.

We can't remember life without her.

Home for the Holidays

What is Home? We have lived so many places it is hared to say.  The kids know many States and now Countries, but one thing for sure.  When we are all in the same house for the Holidays, it sure feels like Home.

We have snow!

For YEARS we have dreamed of real snow.  Even after a year and a half at Grandma Irving's we only had one snow fall the WHOLE time and it stopped at 10 a.m. and melted in about 30 minutes.  Here we finally have snow.  It seems our house was the target for no one that Nato works with or that we attend church with received nearly the amount we were blessed with and oh, what a blessing to play in it. (Just not a blessing to drive in!)

The kids claimed it wasn't enough to make a snowman, but once Nato came home from work he taught them a thing or two and the snowman making began. (Note: Robin doesn't play in the snow because someone has to stay warm and toasty inside and keep track of Matthew.  She is very willing.  Brrr!)
