Fuzzies! Episode II: The Sleep Over

DIY 2020

Nato only found himself home for a couple weeks during the pandemic, however international travel was cancelled so he had many more weekends to work on projects that he has been longing to do.

The first was our bathroom, with new painted cabinets and walls.

What a difference

Then the upstairs hall was painted,

Along with the doors.

And once you paint the doors so nicely,

Why not give the whole game closet a make over with brand new built-in shelves?  Strong enough for all our blankets, puzzles, and games.

Next, Nato built this shelf in the pantry/laundry room for all the laundry supplies,

and Robin's birthday gift, a heavy duty can opener!

For Mother's Day, Nato built a water storage system for our emergency water supply.

"That's a lot of water Tony!"

Then for fun, Nato made two of these fantastic night stands for our bedroom.

The fun kept going as Nato then painted the downstairs bathroom.

The biggest project took many months.  Nato gave our kitchen a huge face lift!

Here is where it began.

First he painted all the cupboards.

He went a section at a time to allow Robin to continue using the kitchen.

It took several days of work over a couple weeks/weekends, but we got there.

But we weren't done yet!

He still had a plan to MAKE counter tops and install a stainless steel sink.

Then the long envisioned bead board was installed above the countertops!

The last step was paint!

Just a light brown all around on the walls...

To finish it all off!

And just in time for Holiday baking to begin!
