Van Gogh is from Holland and Amsterdam has a whole museum dedicated to him.
So we loaded the kids up and headed out to see some actual Van Goghs
I was amazing to see his work and even more amazing that photos were allowed.

Van Gogh made his own paint and when he ran out of canvas he would paint on boards and even on the back sides of other paintings in order to keep painting. To think he only ever sold one painting in his life. He painted sooooooo many beautiful things. I am grateful for his talent and my chance to see some of it.
