I found Philip and Jacob playing in the laundry baskets this week and it just made me smile. It might be because although there is a 6 year difference in age, these two seem to love to play together. It might be because I sometimes watch them and think about the two of them being my "Big Jacob" and my "Little Jacob." Maybe it is just because this really reminded me of an old photo my mom has of my brother and sister playing a similar game.
No matter the reason I realized AGAIN today that being a mom is simply the best (and craziest) job ever!

He totally is a little Jacob! And it's always fun to see kids playing happily and TOGETHER (doesn't happen very often at our house lately!) Hope you're feeling well and counting down to new baby time!
We went to D.C. this weekend and thought multiple times that you guys totally need to come visit us so we can go with you. You would all love it! And just so you know, Kennedy thinks anytime we get them in the double stroller and stay in a hotel that we're supposed to see Mickey. Whoops! Maybe they're a little spoiled! We miss you all so much!
